Take One Dog, Add A Walk In The Country Park And What Do You Get?

Fox Poop!
Th Hound had a wonderful time this morning rolling about in it and completely ignoring me. Now, after a spray down with the garden hose and lots of lavender dog wipes later - he still stinks! (and is still incredibly proud of himself)
Other than forking out on expensive dog parlours or shampoo - is there a natural/ non-toxic household or food item that I can use on his coat to relieve the tears that are currently stinging my eyes every time he wafts past? Any hints or tips?
Many Thanks in advance :-)

Tomatoes! Sauce, tinned, puréed... what ever you have really! Smother him in them, leave for as long as you can and hose him off again! Lisa x

Well, that was the best tip ever! Thanks All
Didn't have tinned tomatoes in stores, so massaged in tons of tomato ketchup, left him in the garden for 20 mins and rinsed off. He now smells 100% better (even though the next door's builders now think I am a mad woman, trying to baste him in red sauce :-)
Many Thanks Dive Girl, best answer and a pic of the puppy for you... (although he was sulking a bit as all his hard work had been undone)

Is he quite a slender dog? Or maybe it is just the angle of the photo. He may look guilty but that won't stop him trying it again tomorrow.
I have never experience the perfume of the fox poo but I have no doubt that is is awful.
I am off to clean out the litter tray - before I start getting vocal complaints about it.

Hiya Wolf, I think it's just the angle of the camera. He's a lab X Harrier Hound so is a bit slimmer in the face than normal, this is how he normally looks...

I didn't want to insult him and question his single pedigree status. I find that most cross breeds seem to get the best from both breeds. He is a nice healthy looking boy.
I don't think that I have ever seen a fox - my dog didn't like the squirrels in the park. Couldn't get through his thick skull that them being at the top of a tree meant that they were not going to be a doggie snack.
