Well later today we will be going offline for a while. We move house tomorrow.

We are naturally very upset by all this but now that we are going we will be glad to move and get it over.

Most of our chickens have gone, Winston the pig went a few weeks back, the rabbits are all gone.

Daisy the pygmy goat will go later today.

The Alpacas and the horses, bit of a lifeline with them maybe! somebody local wants to use our male alpaca (Toby) for a stud but cant afford to buy him yet, so she is going to house our horses and alpacas on her land free of charge and get use of Toby as a stud in exchange and they will be in a field just a few minutes from our new house.

oh lawdy Ratter :-(
Any move is stressful, but under these circumstances, even more so.
I do hope it goes smoothly for you and Carakeel.

Am pleased that Toby and the others will only be a few minutes from your new place, so hopefully you'll both get over to visit frequently.
That's great news Ratter. Mixed emotions I'm sure but also a big weight of your minds. Love the alpaca story - straight out of The Good Life ha ha. Are you going to another place with land / animals?
Best of luck to both of you with the move. I'm glad you can keep a few of the animals, but must be horrible parting with the others. Best without a dishonest landlady, anyway. Best wishes xx
all my best wishes to you, carakeel and animals ratter. hope all goes well and smoothly.
Best of luck Ratter xx...things have a way of working out.....pity about that lovely cabin...was looking forward to being chalet girl !

No Zacs unfortunately, we can have our hounds with us though, there was never any chance of us parting with those. we are now working to see if we can hold on to our horses and alpacas permanently, especially as "Precious Gem" the Alpaca is pregnant. We will have our very own little cria (baby Alpaca)
I really do hope you can. I know it was your dream. Sometimes things have a way of working out for the best don't they.
Very best wishes for you both in your new home. Excellent news about the alpaca and the horses.

I hope things go smoothly for you.

Minty, the front door blew off the cabin in the storms some weeks back and the landlady wont repair it, so cabin has been out of use for weeks now!
She sounds a right minger Ratter !
Best wishes at this stressful time, Ratso.

Our biggest dread is that the track up to the farm has deteriorated so much in the storms we dont even know if the removal van will get up to the farm. She said she wont be getting that repaired until the summer.
Ratter, I hope the move goes smoothly for you and you quickly feel settled in your new home. You have been through such a stressful time.
I am a great believer in karma and I am sure the horrid landlady will get her just desserts in time
Good Luck

better luck this time. I am not sure how you could have avoided this quite honestly
Ratter, Hope the move goes well for you both and that soon you will be back to your normal selves. You and your good lady have not deserved such a terrible upset, and I am still thinking dark thoughts about your previous landlady.Still do believe with all my heart that good things eventually happen to good and kind people, and maybe this move will bring you both all the very best.Do sincerely hope so.
Sincerely Brenda.
Good luck Ratter, we will be facing the same problem in about three weeks, although we won't be moving into our new house until July. Good job No 1 son has got a spare room!
ratter hope everything goes smoothly for you all the best
All the very best of luck for your move today Ratter, what a crazy few months it's been for you. I sincerely hope that you are able to rebuild your life with as many of your animals as possible in your new home and fingers crossed that it will turn out to be fantastic. The arrangement with the horses and alpaca's is ideal for you at the minute, fab news.
Should the witch of a landlady make an appearance today at any point, please give her a two fingered wave from all the AB'ers on here who have been incredulous at her behaviour.
Here's to hoping your move is as stress-free as possible today, all the very best, cheers xx
^^*tomorrow*
I hope all goes as well Ratter for you and Carakeel. Hopefully very soon you will both get to relax and enjoy the summer.
