Flea Treatment For Cats

My cat gets treated with Promeris regularly. The dosage is given as every 6 weeks. I give it as a 6 weeks + 1 dosage.
Does anyone leave the time between treatments longer?

Yes, I haven't de-flead my dogs since 2010. They get a sprinkle of garlic powder on their food a couple of times a week. I would hate to use such a nasty chemical on them so regularly.

I don't treat for fleas unless I see evidence of them. As Lisa says I don't like overdosing with chemicals unless essential.
