What's The Easiest Way To Get Knots Out From Between A Dogs Pads?
3 Answers
I have a 8yr old rescue Westie, (had him 8 months now) and although he's much better in letting me touch and manipulate bits of his body, he still pulls his paws away a bit when I check his feet. He originally wouldn't let me touch them at all, so there is some improvement, and its still a work in progress!
I was checking his feet this morning, and both of his front paws have small knots between the pads.
Anyone out there got a quick and easy method of getting them out?

I do my boys (shih tu x Westie) while I'm clipping them, I use hairdressing scissors but a pair of nail scissors as long as they are sharp would do it. If you squeeze the the pad gently the toes will spread and it makes it easier. Mine don't like their front feet being touched much either but Ive honed my dog wrestling skills over many years so after a bit of a wriggle they usually give in.
