Bloomin Fleas
How the hell do you get rid of fles?
I have spent a fortune on sprays, bombs and powder but they just seem to come back from somewhere.
4 spraybombs and a tin of spray £45. Then 2 spray bombs, two tubs of powder and three tins of spray.
I have even taken to spraying myself but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas different from Bob Martin and Johnsons anyone.??? Please... PLEASE.
The little f000ers only ever bit me and I look like I'l got measles or something.
I HATE THEM BUT THEY LOVE ME :(

It is about £12 for 500ml and you spray around skirting boards, etc and it worked for me when I had a flea infestation. I use Frontline for my pets. I bought my spray from the vets or you can get it online. You always get one or two persistent little beggars but you just have to keep going and spray where you see them. Good luck, I know this can be a nightmare.
With regard to stuff that you apply to animals, I've never found anything from supermarkets or pet shops that really works. You need to go a vet's surgery or (usually far cheaper!) a pharmacy for the stuff that does the job. Try Ectoline from Asda pharmacies. (It's the same chemical as Frontline but cheaper).
As far as sprays for carpets, etc, I've found that the stuff equine supply shops sell for use in stables works best. (NB: It can be used in domestic environments but you MUST read the label VERY carefully and follow the instructions to the letter!!!)

I always recommend either R.I.P. or Indorex flea sprays for the house. Both are effective for up to 12 months. I buy online, but vets may have either one. I know I got the R.I.P. from them.
