Holidays

I haven't been on holidays from 2008 - mainly because I can't stand putting my dog into kennels.

I did try a private dog-sitter but was not pleased - that was to allow me to get to a wedding.

Anybody else feel guilty.

The last time I brought him - he braked his hind legs big time and it nearly killed me.

I think what I should do - is go away for a short time and put him into the kennels and pick him up soon - do this on a regular basis so that way he would know I am coming back for him.

C&J - I hopefully will get David soon as I am going to another wedding in September and will be happy now that he will have company for a day or two.

Jordy how kind of you - no friends and relatives would be dog lovers unfortunately.

Years ago, with previous dogs we used kennels but now apart from a couple of weekend city breaks we only go away where the boys can come too. The two I have now wouldn't be happy at all in kennels, like Mr Harv they spend most of their time with human company.
