Complaint To Vet

If you make a written complaint to a vet in UK, how long would be a reasonable time to wait for a response? I have received no acknowledgement of the complaint, although I know it was received.Thanks

i would expect something in about a week

I think it depends on the complaint. I would expect a "thank you for your letter and we are looking into it" response within a week, maybe with a copy of their complaints policy. You can also go to the RCVS if you aren't happy with the care your pet has received
