Fancy Dress For A Dachshund/sausage Dog For Competition?

Good evening!

Last year we entered a charity dog show and dressed up as a hot dog. The crowd loved it and we bagged second prize.

This year, we are again taking on our arch-nemesis (a dog dressed as a convincing shetland pony that rightly won last year) and would love to scoop the 1st rosette!

Any ideas what Darcey the miniature Dachshund could dress as? Please link with where to buy if possible, as with my studies and work, I just don't have the time to make an outfit.

I loved playing on her sausage-ness last year.

All entrance fees for this competition are for charity.

You have time to make a Christmas Cracker outfit - couldn't be easier. Alternatively, I stopped youngest child from running amok once by dressing her as a tube of smarties. All you need for the first is card, tape, crepe paper and sticky decorations and ribbon. For Smarties it's even easier!

the dog can go as a sausage dog and the owners as a bun and chips .... that way the dog isn't made to look stupid ... its a dog not a doll. I am with Baldric on this one.
