Been using Eliminall spot on, which is like Frontline, for about 2 and half years, did cat as normall last week and she has fleas, never had them before, now partner is being bit on legs, I'm thinking the fleas are immune to Eliminall, what's the best alternative? Just used Bob Martin carpet powder and washing/ hoovering, any ideas anyone?

Honestly? Nothing off the shelf (Frontline, Bob Martin) works anymore, you need something on prescription via your vet, Advocate or Stronghold for example.
I can recommend 'Activyl'. That's what it's called on the inner packaging but the outer box says 'Vetpac Prescription Flea Treatment'. So, as that name implies, you'll need to get it from your vet (or, alternatively, get a prescription from your vet and then see if it's available online).
