Maxie is still eating his wee paws - I do need access to doggie boottees - he wont stop eating them#

I have put 4 socks around them which annoys him but know it does help as if the paws have covers he cannot bite them - a week on - they are pretty healed.

I done this with Harvey only he was licking his bottom - I tied him from top to bottom with pashmina away from bottom - he healed fantastically.

Where can I get these bootees - no (used to be able to do crotchet) not now - he need his paws covered. Any help would be grateful

jemny are you seriously saying you bound up your dog like a mummy to stop it liking its bum?

Secondly find out WHY your dog is biting its paws -he is obviously irritated - no good just covering up his paws find out why he is irritated.
Our local vets' surgery has a shop that seems to stock everything that any pet owner could possibly need. I'm sure that they'd either stock, or be able to order, something suitable. Perhaps your own vet can suggest something, possibly like this?

thank Tony Av - will deffo look at that tomorrow.

I just know in my heart - he is eating paws unnecessarily.

Lets face it - if keeps eating them - they don't heal - then he licks them to heal - so a ficious circle.

Harveys bottom healed like a dream with a big scarf.

But because paws are independent - need independent shoes. Thanks TAV
Many dogs have itchy feet and it can be caused by many things, my friend's dog has food allergies.

Check with your vet to see if the cause of the itch can be found.
jenny if your feet were itching because you were allergic to something, and someone just made you wear boots so you couldn't scratch them, but offered you no medication you would be very annoyed. Why is your dog biting its feet and have you treated the condition?

How did Harvey wash himself if he was tied up with a pashmina?

....and what does the Vet say?
