German Shepherds At Crufts, Truly Shocking!!
85 Answers
How on earth do the breeders get away with this and why does the Kennel Club endorse it.
The German Shepherd is now a ruined breed, especially the show dogs!!
Just look at how low the back of the dog has become! they were never originally bred to be like this!!!

I have some friends that have had 2 German Shepherds that had to be put down due to hip dysplasia. Its a ruddy disgrace and its the reason that the BBC stopped showing Crufts a few years ago.
They did this devastating documentary about Crufts and the ruddy KC. I recall the poor spaniel that had a cranium too small for its brain.
I am not sure what the RSPCA's position is on this but I think they should start making some prosecutions.

That bought back memories. My father was a police dog trainer/handler.I ,as a young kid, would run from the dogs well padded with tractor inner tubes and sacking on my arms or would hide in one of several laundry baskets for tracking displays.
My father won the Police National Dog Championship in 1956 with our Police Dog Joe. He wasn't the prettiest of GSDs ( deformed ear) but the most intelligent creature I have ever come across.
I note both dogs in that clip went for the runners left arm. My father always trained dogs to go for the right arm. More often the villain would be right handed and hold a weapon in that hand.
I had an avatar of my father and Joe in Cyprus for a while whilst serving with 45 Royal Marine Commando
