It is a Miniature Wire-haired Dachshund. Teckel is just a German nickname for them. Dachshunds (pronounced Daks hunds) come in two sizes and three coat types. The smaller ones are called Miniature and must ideally be under 11 pounds for the show ring. The bigger ones are known by most people as 'Standard' but its not the official name - they just go by the coat type eg Wire-haired Dachshund then Miniature Wire-haired Dachshund. They also come in Smooth-haired and Long-haired.
