... you all are.
Was going to post earlier but didn't want to clash with Retro's Post.
(Doc is doing the typing as I have one hand in plaster)
What I want to do is say the MOST ENORMOUS 'THANK YOU' to everyone for their messages of support, they really were appreciated, Thank You.
Doc brought me home yesterday 'cos she was there when they said I could go, couldn't get out fast enough. She's a cruel Lady, got home and she pushed me straight into the shower because "you smell" I was just getting a rub-down with a well-thumbed copy of The Lancet when Mrs B. turned up, such a good job we've all been friends for a long time.
I've got left hand and foot plastered and a long row of staples on my head.
I did try to remember 'How to Fall' from my training, problem was that didn't include how to control a 24' ladder at the same time. An oversight by the MoD perhaps?
Best bits, I'm home, had some decent food and drink and I'm clean (thanks Doc) and comfortable. It can only get better.
Thanks again guys!

Good to hear you're home Balders
Welcome home.

Are you allowed a beer yet?
I have no tact and limited people skills but - my initial response your accident was to laugh.

I hope that you didn't upset Rodger - poor wee lamb.

Welcome back

:-)
Glad you've been sprung, we always recover quicker in our own surroundings.
You didn't half give us a fright Balders, gawd knows the fright you gave Mrs B and Doc.
They've been wonderful in posting updates and it's sincerely appreciated.

So glad you're home and now smell nicely xx
Its Just Great to have you back and on the mend... The Doc and Mrs B have been excellent at keeping us informed. I do hope they both become regulars on here xx
Hang in there Balders and best wishes.
Way to go Baldric. Glad you are home and feeling chipper. You have escaped the Hospital just in time for a sunny spell by the looks of it. What with half of you covered in plaster, and the sun out, you will look like a liquorice allsort by the middle of June.
And here was me thinking the MoD had issued you with....How To Scare the Living Daylights out of Two Irish Women Living in a Shrubbery....
First: Take one ladder.................

Or if what you really wanted was a shower from a medic Psybs has her Brownie First Aid Badge, I think......

You really, really worried us, Baldric.....so happy you're home, cheeky as ever and on the mend....and being so well looked after.....

Onwards and upwards now...(but not on the ladder, please).....and love to your two special ladies....and Roger...

Hugs, Gx
Welcome back Balders.
Brilliant.
Hiya Balders. Glad you're home and on the mend.Cupid waves across the estuary. Give us a wave with both arms if you can ;-)) xx
Glad you're on the mend.
Welcome back Baldric. Good that you have two capable women looking after your every whim. Get one of them to go up the ladder next time;-)) x

Gness (not sure I should type this for him but.....) he says for all the hard work you have done on the shrubbery you and Psybs share the Best Kept Bush of the Year Award for 2016.
Me and the lads have some tarmac left over from a big job, if you're interested.
Bloody hell. What's Balders running there a Bordello?
Not a good idea to be up a ladder installing a red light in a coastal navigation area mate. :-)
Question Author
Thanks Retro, he didn't think of that,
PS, just what are you suggesting???
Me??? Suggestive? I don't have women lurking in my shrubbery with well trimmed bushes and the only thing my GP offered me yesterday was a sputum bowl but I wouldn't of turned down a shower from her if it was offered.
Like wot you called Balders on discharge I smelt like wot I was often called when I escaped St. Georges. :-)
Welcome back, Baldric. I wish you well. x
