Chinchilla Pregnancy

Has anyone let their chinchilla have litters? Apart from obvious how do you know if she is pregnant and when conception occurred?thanks

Chinchillas have a fairly long gestation and you probably won't see any signs of pregnancy until the last third. i don't think you will be able to work out the date of conception until after they are born.
