I was treating myself to a small bar of wholenut chocolate - I had ate one square when phone rang and I was on for about 10 minutes. Mr Maxie ate the rest of the chocolate leaving the nuts.

As it was milk chocolate, you might, just might get away with it. Keep a close eye on him and if he starts to breathe heavily and look unwell, call the vet. Chocolate is poisonous to dogs.

My ex had a dog that once woofed down (apologies for the pun...) a large family sized bar of choclate. Didn't kill her but she had the runs the next day like you wouldn't believe, muck everywhere.

Chocolate is highly toxic to dogs, getting him to do a do do is not going to help him!! As tilly says as it was milk chocolate you may get away with it, otherwise take him to the vets - its your choice.

Anne - it is good and easy to use. For a little dog like Maxie it won't take much chocolate to kill him.

I used Wolf's calc and it mild reading. He also had a good walk and seems bright enough. He is in his wee bed in my room sleeping away. So will let you know how he is tomorrow.

Some of you have made me out that I tried to deliberately kill him. It was an accident thank you very much.
