Paul O'grady For The Love Of Dogs
18 Answers
First show last night of a new series. Anybody watch? I thought it was very well done, some great dogs needing a new home for various reasons, Paul loving them all, as usual, and lovely music and lyrics played throughout which fitted in with each dog's problem. I watched it all with a smile on my face. Can't wait for next week !

And to cap it all that poor old dog sunny with his new mum on the swing chair...will admit to a bit of a sniff at that image. This is always a lovely heart warming programme IMO

Didn't watch it but i will be catching up 'cos i read this morning that the programme featured a Jack Russell with 'little dog syndrome'. They could have been talking about my dog and i am interested to see how they tackled this problem. I get visitors, Milo yaps incessantly. One of my visitors will stand up to go outside for a smoke, Milo yaps incessantly. My visitors make as if to leave, Milo yaps incessantly - jumping up at them as he does so. He doesn't bite them but he does sometimes tug at their clothes - sleeves, skirts, etc. It's as if he doesn't want them to leave. What's more, owing to an operation on his throat a couple of years back, his yap has increased in sharpness by a few thousand decibels. Goes right through you, it does.
Ken, that is not too old to teach him,the trick is to start by teaching him to 'speak' and then to stop 'speaking' or vice versa.I taught my dog to speak first.
