My Pal Nero Died Peacefully Yesterday On His Favoutite Cushion.

He is the black and white one. His pal Cleo is missing him.
He was a rescue cat on 9th May 2012. We think he was about 17 when he left us.

He is now laid to rest in our garden where he spent most of his time.

I think we are now too old to consider another pet. We are in our seventies and Cleo is about 9 years old.

Sparkly I am so sorry, they break your heart when they go don't they but it's a price worth paying imo. Please please think about taking another OLDER cat on. There are so many in rescue that get overlooked because most people want a kitten. In your seventies is young nowadays:-). RIP in the garden Nero.

We also had to say goodbye to Rags. 17 year old Ragdoll who had a stroke. Lovely vet came to the house and he is now in our animal burial area with 15 other cats, 6 dogs and two tortoise laid to rest over the last 35 years. Still have 7 cats and 4 dogs to play with

I'd say, please give some consideration to getting another furry friend. You're not too old. If I could get a dog at my age, you can certainly manage another cat. They make our lives complete.
