Bullying Goldfish

We have a tank with two goldfish and two shibunkins. One of the shibunkins has a problem whereby it floats and looks dead then goes like the clappers to get about the tank. Think its to do with his swim bladder. The bigger of the goldfish has started to chase this one around and if it rests on the surface it swims into it. Any thoughts please. Thanks

The reson your Shibunkin is being picked on is because its unwell, most creatures in the animal kingdom do this, (survival of the fittest), your Goldfish won't stop until its dead, so probably the best solution is to take the unwell fish out. Its always a good idea to have another tank stored somewhere, so it can be used as a hospital tank if need be.

we had this problem and were advised to feed some live food instead of just the flake type you can buy this frozen in ice cube like packets at the pet shop and feed it 2 or 3 times a week
