My boy is sometimes treated to a Waggy Doggy Ice Cream when in a local park. Old Sock flavour of course. He loves it.
What do you do to keep your mutts cool?
Pets at Home do special frozen yoghurty things for dogs. When I first bought one for Jill she loved it and devoured it, but she wasn't too keen on subsequent ones, so I stopped buying them. I put ice cubes in her water on really hot days, but she's not a big water drinker anyway. She prefers drinking from rain puddles !
My German Shepherd pup has her own swimming pool in the garden -swimming not paddling, its about 10 feet across and about 80 cm deep. We also have cool mat for indoors. We' re lucky because our cottage has really thick stone walls and its cooler in the summer inside than it it out.
So pleased to read Duggee is better bednobs.
Fancy a dog not eating jelly and cabbage Wolf. Fussy creature;-)
I think most dogs love anything cheesy DTC. Perhaps she got it from you;-)
Never tried a any of my dogs with bananas RH, they've never shown any interest.
Noted, no chocolate ice cream, thanks LCG.
APG this week has been the first time I have given him ice cream since I got him a year ago. It will be a treat once in a while.
I'll have a look at the P@ H's frozen yogurt things BS, next time I'm in there. No idea they sold anything like that. Thanks.
Lucky dog APG. Mine goes down on the beach but ignores the water, he's only interested in his ball.
From what I remember, they have different flavours as well. I think Jill liked the vanilla one, but like I said, she went off them, but that's Jill, she does that all the time ! Fussy madam ..
I thought I had answered here, but seems not :-)
Mine have a doggy paddling pool, which 3 of them love and play in. 1 paddles if very hot and one avoids. Also a fan in the living room, which my springer, especially, likes to lie in front of.
LB, they all know their feeding places in different corners of kitchen/dining room- and always in the same order. So,no confusion... even the pup only took two meals to see where her place was. I would have to divide it into 5, and put it in the right order, in the right places :-)
