another walk then when I get my shoes and coat ready to go he decides to start eating the food in his dish first. He's doing it now little so and so.

Anyone else have a dog that does this?

Don’t leave food down. Once he’s been fed, take it away until next feeding time.

Haha! You're not losing your mind. You just love your dog. Thing is though, dogs should have regular meal times. You wouldn't allow children to graze at will or leave a buffet out all day for people to pick at, would you? Course you wouldn't. Thanks for BA. :o)
