Several of my fish have developed white spot, can anybody tell me what is safe to use as Ihave clown loach and elephant nose in the same tank. I have turned up the temp 10 deg for 24 hous.I have a 40gallon tank and lots of different fish including a blue lobster.

ive always used king british anti whitespot, it should be fine for clowns, you turned your temp up 10 deg? c or f? if celsius im suprised you havent cooked them, raising it by 2 or so is plenty. if you have carbon filter it needs removing before you start medicating. hope this helps
sorry i forgot to mention, it may be beneficial to add a airstone meds can reduce oxygen. plus i assumed you normally have a temp of 26 c thats why i said 2 deg is plenty if its a tad less then it can go up to 28 but no more its very dangerous above 28.
