Things Could Only Get Better
14 Answers
after the clutch went on my van yesterday (see motoring section for reference lol) and I am stuck at home with all the dogs till middle of next week. Friends are down at Bath Championship Dog Show and a dog I bred last year has just won the Challenge Certificate and got Best of Breed so I am thrilled to bits. His name is Fettle (Lankeela You Go Boss at Foveaux) and he is only sixteen months old so has a very bright future in front of him. Chuffed or what!

The 'Marmalade' one is from Finland - I sent her grandfather out there quite a few years ago to a friend of mine and he has been a top stud dog for them and she came back as a replacement - she is ten now. She is a liver and tan, as is her grandson and there are not many of that colour, most of them are black and tan.
Yes cattle dogs originally and some still work. They are only a maximum of 12 inches tall yet will hold off a herd of recalcitrant bullocks! They are also good ratters so make a good general purpose farm dog but will do anything asked of them. Excellent guard dogs too - be it the postman or a gnat farting three miles away they will alert you to it!
