Interesting you say 'for the first time' (was it the first time you were caught, or the first time you stole something) and still want to return to a similar store. Before you try to go back into one of these stores consider your intent and your friendship circle. You certainly should go on your own , going with friends may well alert store security who often watch groups of young people more closely.

While I have no info on the subject, my pure guess is that it is unlikely CCP style camera surveillance and identification is used in all stores, and using a different one isn't likely to cause you problems.
