Dog peeing

My dog is well trained (or so I thought...). We've had her for a year and take her out regularly, but recently - in the past week - we've been finding really wet patches around the house. It's strange, she isn't squatting to pee but they are so wet I can't imagine it's just her licking. We're heading to the vet on Monday just to make sure, but has anyone any ideas why this is happening? She'd had cystitis in the past, but isn't displaying the same symptoms as then. Any help?!

It might be an infection. Sometimes dogs do that if they're sick. Taking her to the vet is a good idea.
The wet patches are the symptoms! She cant control when she's urinating poor thing, take her to the vets for antibiotics before it reaches her kidneys!
