4 Answers
Is it safe to put to heat slugs (microwaved) in with my ferrets i dont think that they will eat them and its not to hot that it will burn them, I have a duvet over the top of them and they are in a shed with the light kept on to generate extra heat.....but it is cold out there, I know they have a winter coat as there colours have changed, But what i would also like to know is would it effect them if i kept hem in at night and back out to the shed during the day. would they catch a cold? would there coat change? ratter is the person to ask

Ferrets are very hardy creatures, as long as they are well fed on flesh or proprietary ferret food.
If they live out doors, leave them out doors, if you have more than one ferret living together they will keep each other warm.
