Happy Christmas
I just wanted to wish you all a happy Christmas and don't forget to look after your animals, they deserve a safe and happy Christmas as well. I will be on my own this Christmas and would give anything to share it with an animal friend but not possible! Anyway hope you all have a lovely time. Gelda x

Fortunately we have an abundance of pets this Christmas as we have just allowed a 8 week old Ragdoll kitten to adopt my nine year old daughter.... he is the most tiny and beautiful little thing and already rules the roost and has put my older kitten Church well and truly in her place....followed by my Great Daneand three Yorkshire Terriers!!! They're presents are bought and wrapped, but not stopping there by tonight the garden will be heaving with fat balls and nuts for the birds [need to get some more....greedy ******* have cleaned me out]....
Just hope everyone elses pets manage to have a safe and Happy Christmas too!!!

Hi Iankeela. Unfortunately I've got cancer of the spine so I can only just about get around my flat. I had been a dog walker for 40 years before I got this and spent most of my Christmas's house sitting while people went away so you can imagine how much I miss all my little pals, still I'm alive and I've got to be thankful for that! Have a good Christmas. Gelda x

Sad to hear you're on your own this Christmas, I hope you have people around to take care of you like you deserve. My partner and I split this month but I still have my boy (Jack, a beautiful Collie who would put such a smile on your face!) and my family.
Some people don't know how lucky they are, othersa have such a hard time of it and at this time of year too. A couple of my friends are going through absolute hell right now, and I feel sad I can't do more to help.
Happy Christmas everyone, Love Lisa x

Thanks Gelda, thats good advice, I must make sure my dog does not get neglected when we visit folk's tomorrow, he likes to rip the wrapping paper off his pressies himself and often gets the tape stuck to his fur but he dont like anyone trying to remove it.
I've bought lots of wild bird food and feeders as gifts this year, as I know folks get a lot of pleasure from watching the birds feed and its nice to know that its helping them to survive the winter too. It occurred to me that you may enjoy feeding birds too, I've seen some good feeders that can be hung outside windows or attached to them and in time the birds become trusting and almost tame!

Thanks for all your good wihes! The thing I've missed most since being ill is walking in the countryside with the dogs and feeding my foxes every night, it's funny how just the simple things in life can give you so much pleasure, they beat all the things that money can buy, don't you aggree!
Love Gelda.
