How much to scan my pregnant dog?
Does any1 know how much roughly it costs to have your dog scanned for babies???

She will have them within a week either side of 63 days. I would leave it and get her checked if she has not produced anything say three or four days after the due date.
Any unnecessary upset for the bitch could cause her distress. She needs to be kept calm and reassured at this time. If she only has a small litter she may well have them carried up high in the horns of the uterus.
With only three days to go she should also be starting to express milk. If she rolls on her back you will probably be able to see the little 'blobs' popping up and down in her stomach - this is my favourite time and I could watch for hours just waiting to see a 'blob'.

No - nothing. She is past her due date which was wednesday just gone. I had a sneaky feeling she had re-absorbed them at around 7weeks, we've had litters before but never had a dog thats re-absorbed before. I posted this questions because it was doing my head in waiting to see if I was right or not - and its looking like I was! Anyway, thanks for thinking of me.
