I got bitten the other day
It bloody hurt too, and took a lot of self control not to leap around like a big girl. I had my back turned and the other dog went for mine (both on leads), missed, and chomped on my leg too. Winge over.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I would be more worried about a tetanus jab for yourself than a rabies jab for the dog, especially in the UK, as we rarely have our dogs jabbed for it unless they are getting a pet passport to travel abroad.
Trouble with dogs is if they are intent on getting hold of another dog, they don't think about you being in the way.
Dog bites are very painful, I find the worse are on your fingers, I have ended up sitting up in bed holding my hand aloft to relieve the pain on the odd occasion that I have not moved quick enough to avoid the fangs!
