lethargic kitten

my 9 week old kitten has gone from being playful and full of energy to sleeping all day. she gets up to eat and toilet, but apart from that shows no interest in anything else around her including the antics of her sisters. She isn't sneezing, and doesn't appear to be in any pain when she eats/goes to the toilet/gets picked up.

Does anyone know why she might have suddenly changed behaviour?

Your kitten should be full of boundless energy and driving you insane.

I would take her to the vet - it may be that there is something wrong with her.

thanks Wolf - I ended up taking her to the vets last night and she had a slight temperature. the vet gave her an injection to help bring this down, and she was looking a little more perky this morning - so good news!

I always feel like a over anxious mother when my cats are ill.

I am really glad she is okay - they are so tiny and fragile at that age. She will be feeling better and getting into trouble and destroying things in no time.
