Dog fouling
5 Answers
Can anyone help me solve the problem of neighbours dogs fouling my yard. I have already tried the following with no success: - Get Off crystals, 2 battery operated ultrasonic repellers, and one mains ultrasonic repeller. Someone has told me that if I get some lion dung from the zoo, and place it around, this will deter them. Has anyone tried this? Or has anyone any other suggestions. Thanks.

It may help You can get a thing called a Scarecrow which is like a water sprinkler but they are expensive .A cheaper option is to arm yourself with a water pistol and give them a good squirt if you catch them in the act .
Also to be frank I would be having a word with the owners of these dogs. it is highly irresponsible of them to allow their animals to foul other peoples property. As a dog owner myself I wouldn't dream of letting him poop willy nilly all over the place. If they won't play ball then report them to the dog warden or pick it up and deposit it back where it came from !! It is the dog owners who are at fault here not the dogs.Grrr ...this sort of thing annoys me .Irresponsible owners.
Plus if you can fence your yard off that will help or is it open land or do they just jump over the fence ?

Shanystar2 - I have tried all of that - the owners deny it is their dogs even though they have to come up my drive to get round the back! I have tried returning it, but there is so much there they wouldn't notice! The only other thing is I have a friend who works in the zoo and maybe he can get me some Lion dung to try.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I have not ordered some Zoo Poo (rhino and elephant) and I will let you all know if it works!
PS.The only place I could find online was Colchester Zoo
and they were really helpful when I spoke to them. I have been spending 4.00 per week for get off cristals, and this was only 8.45 including postage.
