Hi all! I am picking up a little bundle of fur on thursday, and I am not totally decided on what to name her....
She is all black with a white strip on her chest and white socks! I am thinking of Billie, or Poppy. Do you have any other suggestions please? Ta!

I've always found with kittens that you have to get to know them a bit before deciding on a name. You could call it something really cutesy and then find she's a mean little so and so!
I wasn't very original with mine - I named them after characters from the Magic Roundabout - hence Florence, Ermintrude and Dylan, however I do have a Daisie.
I like human names too - I know a cat called Brenda - and I have had guinea pigs called Keith, Miriam, Geraldine and Kevin. Oh and a budgie called Sid
Hope you have lots of fun & cuddles with your new addition.

We've had a few cats over the years & their names were:

Cleo
Lucy
Poppy
Timothy (Timmy)
Tabitha
Annie (after Mum)
Billy (after Dad)
Tilly
Smudge (all no longer with us)

Our latest is Milly who was born early June & she's adorable!

This is so strange Smudge! I am talking to my friend on MSN and I was just saying I liked Tilly! You and me obviously have the same taste in cat names! lol
Ha ha pmsl Invisible!!! - my daughter nearly ended up being called Chip - her Dad's got a warped sense of humour!

bensmum - Keith is the perfect name for a guinea pig!!!!!! LOL
...and Tilly is a very classy name! :-)

Ha ha! I only just realised what your name is!!! Very nice indeed! lol
It certainly made the vets smile if I had to take any of the 'pigs there!
Amazing coincidence ~max~ - great minds think alike! ;o}

Also meant to say, not only did we have a Tilly, my second eldest sister if Florence, but we call her Florrie or Flo. Years ago, she used to be called Floss.

TillyFloss - get it! ;o}

My last she cat was called Delilah as she was so adorable she made people go weak.

Perhaps you could call her Claudia, you'll see why when she's laughing down at you from the top of the curtains... ;o)
My cats had names that "went" with them..Gizmo (gremlins) has big ears and Gilbert (80s alien) had a snotty nose when we got him from tibbs street in Manc!
Ah, she's so sweet ~max~. Bet you can't wait for lots of cuddles with her - it's so therapeutic too! Mind you, our Milly has a mad half hour every evening!

Mmm - cats love curtains don't they jiggy?!
Switching off now, so sweet dreams all!
Sweet dreams Smudge x
Black with a white strip - you have just got to call her Spot or Patch... sorry, ok, how about Socks or Stripe ?
~max~ she's lovely - if you get fed up with her can I have her!
Actually I don't know about everyone else but I find with my cats that they don't get called by their proper mnames most of the time anyway.
Florence gets called Floss (unless she wakes me at 3am in which case it's not printable!)
Daisy gets called Mims for some reason
(night smudge)
