one of my kittens has been killed!
I had two nearly 8 month old kittens who were brothers called Ronnie and Reggie, i had a phone call this morning from a dog walker to tell me that he had found Ronnie dead in the road he had found his collar moved him out of the road and then called me. I went and found Ronnie and took him to the vets who are going to cremate him. I am thankful to the kind person who told me or i would of found him on my way to work which would of been awful. Reggie the other kitten has already started looking for Ronnie and is clearly distressed i don't know what to do? I am obviously worried about letting him out Reggie has already been hit by a car once and survived!! I can't believe Ronnie is gone, you never think it will happen to you!

I have a 2 year old Cat who broke her leg when she was only a kitten and I had only had her for a couple of weeks, but she is my baby and she comes home the same times every day so if she is a bit late I panic!! She went missing for a weekend a while back and it was horrible!! The other kitten will get use to not having Ronnie around, and as they were brothers it may not be good to replace the kitten with another one just yet, if it is male kitten you get they may fight, and if it is a female kitten you get, well obviously you dont want lots of kittens!!
So sorry to hear about your poor kitten. It is so difficult to keep them completely safe - cats are so curious and will wander. It has happened to me and it's is horrible but someone came to tell me about my cat too which was better than me going out and looking for him. Reggie will be distressed for a while but they forget quicker than we do. Give him lots of cuddles (I'm sure I don't need to tell you that). Thinking of you

So sorry about Ronnie leela, I have two cats and luckily they don't wander now as they both old moggies. My husband found a dead cat in the road a few months ago with no identification on it, we went to all the nearby houses but never found the owner. We buried the poor thing so at least it wasn't left cold and unloved in the gutter.
Very sorry to hear about that Dougal (the other is Darcy) went missing a few months back, then suddenly reappeared ver ythin and dirty (looks like he had been locked in a shed somewhere).
Two weeks later I found him run over on the road.
Very sad for you - I think the only consolation I had is that I knew where he was and that he wasn't suffering/starving somewhere
