Neglected dog
7 Answers
In November I posted , seeking advice on how to feed a neglected Doberman which we had rescued from the dog pound. I had answers from Diamond Life, lankeela, divegirl and eyeshade. Thanks to you all! I am happy to report that Champ is thriving. He is enjoying life in the countryside in the company of a collie and a Westie . His ribs and hipbones are well fleshed over and he is gaining in confidence and is a great companion. Thanks again!

We had got him as a pup from a family where the children had started calling him Murphy. We renamed him Spud . Murphy and spud are two names for potatoes here in Ireland. It seemed natural to continue the potato theme. Hence we call our present one Champ!
