He doesnt use the front at all normally ? How can I stop this , ive tried going round the back and calling him in throught the flap but he just gets louder round the front . Also I dont have really cat friendly neighbours either ;o( .. any help and advice would be appreciated x

I have given you problem some thought, usually around 5 am when my cats decide to wake me up for food, and I don't know what I would do in your circumstances.
Cats are great companions but can be a total pain too. I am sorry that I am no help.

thanks wolf ... if i leave extra food for him he just eats it all before i even go to bed lol .. i cant let him just have the run of the house because he gets on the kids beds and generally wakes them :o( will just have to perserve and hope he grows out it .. definatley agree about the pain bit :o) .. thanks again x
Hi, macca, reading your post, it sounds like you put your cat out at night? He's very young for that - have you had him neutered? If not, please do - it's much better for him and he'll stay home at night & not wake you up to be let in! Also, it'll be safer for him, as he won't get into fights with the neighbourhood toms, or stand the chance of being killed on the road at night. It'll also help placate your neighbours if he's neutered & stays in at night. I've got 5 cats, 4 females & 1 wee lad (all "done") but we had all sorts of problems with an un-neutered tom, who came to visit every night, making a h**l of a racket and even got in through our cat-flap, raped my little female cat and pee-ed all over the house!!
Hi, macca. Sorry, haven't been on here for a few days. It was nice of you to ask about my little cat - yeah, she's fine, thanks, only her pride hurt! She's terrified of that tom, though - gets in a right tizz if she sees him and comes running home.
Have you managed to persuade your wee chap to go back to using the cat flap yet?
