Hi, I want to keep my cats up to date with worming treatment, I dont find the supermarket brands effective so want to use something like Drontal. The only thing is they are in tablet form and the cats WILL NOT eat them, even if I crush them up, hide them in food etc. Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can buy a liquid form that I can pop on the back of the neck like Frontline flea treatment? TIA
You could try the vets, I took my puddy tat to to vets a couple of weeks ago when she was poorly, (she's better now) and they had posters up for exactly what you are looking for called worm something, sorry can't be more specific. I thought at the time thats really good, alot less invasive, hope this helps.
hi i use bob martins spot on for worms which you can buy from supermarkets. ive been using it on my cats for nearly a year now and ive never had a problem. also it covers them for 3 months. the only thing you have to remember is if you use flea drops you have to wait 7 days before using the worm drops
I'd have to say, from experience Bob Martins is useless.
Droncit does tapeworm, Profender does round-, tape- and hookworm. Advocate does a lot of worms but not tapeworm. Stronghold does roundworm and hookworm. All of these are spot-ons.
