cats to go to toilet outside?

How do you get your cats to toilet outside, instead of using the litter tray indoors?

put the litter tray outside.
make sure you show them where it is.
hopefully they should get used to using it there.
then you lose the tray.

You could atrt by slowly moving the litter tray nearer to the outside until finally moving it outside and then getting rid of it altogether and leading them to a place where you won't worry about cat poo.
