You might need to say where. as south wales is anywhere south of the brecon becons and east of carmathan to the english border,
That is a huge area to be looking for something 10in high LOL

Thank you for the geography lesson edukes. Pity you can't spell Carmarthen and Breacon Beacons!!! LOL
Why not try the Doglost site, they might be able to help or put info out to dog lovers ect.Good Luck g

Thanks for that suggestion garner I will try them - much obliged to you.
Have you contacted all the animal sanctuaries in the area? Try Ty Agored first, if the dog was lost in Ceredigion. (They've got a website) I'd be quick, too, because the people that run it are a bit unscrupulous & if they had your dog, would probably sell it pretty sharpish! Is the dog micro-chipped?
can't spell because i have dyslexia

Thanks to those who answered constructively...the others obviously have never owned a dog. He was taken from the Crosskeys area (near Newport), and unfortunately was not microchipped as he was not a wanderer.
Any luck yet? (By the way, edukes spelt "Brecon" correctly!)
