How can we stop our dog going mental when my boyfriend and I try to get intimate?
In Fact its not just then, its anytime we cuddle or sometimes when we just stand together in the kitchen a talk............the dog hates it...he barks at us. If we do try n get amorous in the bedroom then even shutting the door on him has him barking and scratching at the door............he knows what we are doing!"!! We have even sneaked into the bathroom and tried to be very quiet with our..........activities......and he still waited outside the bathroom door barking and nearly destroying the door. How can we stop him from acting like this? Please help us someone..............

I believe it is about independence training. Your dog wants to be with you all the time, its not what you are doing, it is just that he/she feels that they should be part of anything you do.
So, it needs to know that it can not be with you all the time and that you initiate the attention rather than giving in to demands. The tips for independence training are usually such as not making a fuss when you come in, never responding to the dog overtures such as jumping up or paw on the knee, periodically moving it off from where it is sitting and taking the seat, bed yourself. Others here are expert in dog behaviour and may well give you better advice.
Although there is always give up.

Lankeela............it has crossed my mind.........ha.
I believe he does need some sort of training but i don't know where to start and i don't know if putting him outside to bark and become distressed is the answer.
I think he does favour me more and if i go upstairs of an evening to watch tv he comes with me, yet if my boyfriend goes upstairs to watch any tv he stays downstairs with me........
He follows me into the kitchen everytime i go in, and if we are walking and i leave him outside with my sister or anyone who i am walking with and say pop into a shop.....he barks until i come back. Maybe i have smothered him too much.!!!

Sounds like you have spoilt him rotten. My bet he is jealous and also being over-protective of you. In his eyes, your boyfriend could be harming you. I had a loverly Chow chow/Collie cross who wouldn't hurt a fly. She would let kids pull her tail and ride her like a horse. Never even a bark or growl. One day my husband was fooling around and had me by the arm. My dog growled, showed her teeth and was ready to rip hubby apart. He slowly released me and all was well. Therefore, I think it is more of a protection thing.
