my kitten cant close one of its eyes

I'm taking my new kitten to the vet in the morning but want to know if anyone else has come across this before ....when my kitten goes to sleep one of his eyes stays open (looks creepy) the third eyelid comes up to cover the eye but the lid stays open ??????

My cats sometimes sleep with their eyes half open. I think its normal but take him to the vet just in case.

Hi tigger.

Can't add any more other than what tigs's just said. It happens sometimes, but if it's ALL the time, the vet probably needs to take a little look. x
