Shaking dog
2 Answers
Over the past few years our dog has started to become really shakey through thunderstorms which as he is getting older i can understand however more recently he has started to now shake during heavy rain too. The worrying thing he is now doing it randomly like yesterday for about half and hour when there was no rain and this morning again he has been doing it again for about an hour, i try to comfort him but he doesnt settle and more increasingly he is following me everywhere always at my feet and even trying to follow me into the bathroom. I am a little more concerned it might be more, any suggestions? (our dog is coming 13 in Nov)

I would get him checked over by a vet, the shaking could be caused by many things. He could be just getting a little more clingy because of his age - remember if you go by the rule of 1 of our years is equal to 7 of their years then your dog is now around 91 years old!!!
It would be well worth getting him a general check over by a vet, they could well pick up on something early and may be able to help him have a better quality of life for his remaining time with you.
