My dog has eaten washing owder

My dog has just eaten a tablet of wasing powder - is it dangerous/poisonous? If so what should i do?

It is quite common for dogs to eat soap, and there are some who think they do this because they are lacking some vitamins, but other people disagree. may dogs will jump and eat childrens bubbles for this reason.

Anyhow, it should be harmless. See if your dog will drink some milk, may settle its stomach if it is a bit off.

Look at the packet. It should say what to do if eaten. However, I would phone the vet to ask for advice.

I'm sure your dog will be fine. Just take him/her to the vet for a check. At least the poo will smell nice! Lol

call the vet for advice and have the packet to hand to list the ingredients, but should imagine the dog will be fine.

Washing powder doesn't contain anything toxic so your dog should be fine.
