Is eating pheasant poo bad for dogs???

I know this is an odd question, but it is starting to bug me. When I take my dog for a walk she is always eating pheasant poo. Does anyone know if this is harmful??
I'd ask the vet, but they'd probably charge me �50 for the answer.

Shouldn`t do any harm, might make your dog feel a bit fowl

No worse than eating other animal's poo. Bird droppings contain a high level of B12 and animals seem to know that. My girl even licks a sparrow's deposit from the concrete.

It will probably contain worm eggs but then so do your shoe soles after you walk on the pavement/grass.

The pheasants are farmed and pass undigested foods in their faeces that dogs/foxes/cats will feed on.

As Lucy says, remember your pets are animals first and you shouldn't kiss/be licked/or even share your bed with them. They carry a miriad of germs that would be harmful to a child or weakened adult.

I've been pet sitting and dog walking for 40 odd years, I've had dogs lick my face and share my bed on countless occasions and I've never come to any harm. people are too fussy nowadays!

Yes, call me picky but I don't want an animal licking my face that's just eaten 5hit or been licking its ar5e.
