Cat has become VERY attention seeking
We have a 3 year old cat, Max. He's always been a house cat as when we got him we lived in a top floor flat, and now we live by a main road. He's always been perfectly happy, slept all day, bit of a play in the evening then sleep at night. Very affectionate obviously as we're all he knows.
BUT in the last 3 weeks he has found a broken blind cord (string with plastic bobbles on it) and he's OBSESSED! he meows and meows until we go in the bedroom and play with him, and if we leave him for even a few mins he meows and meows and meows until we go to him and play. He will only play with it in the bedroom too!
Its driving us nuts - he's demanding attention and fun basically, but its all the time that we are home. Its come out of nowhere...any advice anyone, on how to pacify him/satisfy him?
Any tips greatly appreciated - this is quite a major behavioural shift!
