Tropical Fish - Triangular Spotted Loach?
A few days ago me and my fella bought a couple of these for one of our freshwater tanks. The shop advertised them as the above but I can find nothing about them on the net.
I know this may be a hard question without a pic but does anybody possibly know the proper name or even latin name for these so I can get more info on them?

They are very pretty obviously loach like fish with beautiful markings. I think the reason they are called triangular is because they kind of stand on their front fins to form a triangle shape if seen from the front.
I wish I could draw you a picture, but if it is the body that looks triangular, and there is a long slim tail, then it is probably a plecostomus. The one I have is coloured pale orange with black speckles. Some loach types can live in either a cold water tank like goldfish, or more usually in a tropical tank. Hope this helps.

Ok, I now have pics. Is anyone able to help now, we are still struggling to pinpoint exactly what it is called.
