Humans eating grass?
0 Answers
I remember reading (in Readers Digest, I think) a story about a woman doctor in Britain who survived throughout the second world war by eating grass. She did it to prove it could be done and as research into starvation survival. The method involved sending the grass through at least twice. Not too sure if that meant she ate it (ahem) again but sounds likely. This was a long time ago that I read this (more than 40 years) but I have often wished I knew more about her and her research.
Anybody know her name or anything else about her?
