My question is this: 4 days ago, I took my three inside, fixed, declawed females  ages 3,4, & 5, plus three 6-7 months old kittens from the neighborhood where I live to get free rabies shots. Well, since then, my cats have been throwing up, and have been more motionless than they usually are. They also have some fleas & bites. I am wondering if the reason they are sick is from the rabies shots, or from the fleas. The three kittens that are outside cats, have not shown any signs of being sick. They are still bouncing all over each other & playing like they never even got the shots. I am going to try & get them to their vet, tomorrow, cause  I can't let them go on like this  anymore. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Nita.

I just wanted to let you know that you probably haven't had a reply as being a UK site we do not have our animals vaccinated for rabies unless we are travelling abroad with them.  Therefore, we cannot help you here and we don't have relevant experience.

I do hope your vet can help you tomorrow.

De-clawing cats is also not a common practice in the UK. It is is a barbaric, inhumane and unnecessary practice.
