We have a beautiful Mainecoon tom cat he's 9 years old and is fit as a fiddle and doing everything he should be doing but he's lost half his weight he's now only 5.7 kg.The vet has done blood and urine tests and he's anemic and his kidney results are in the risk rating. We have put him on to a commercial renal diet I am also cooking for him and will monitor his weight. He'll go back to the vets within the month to be checked again.Has anyone any ideas of anything else we can do our cats usually live to in their twenties and I would like to keep him happy and healthy for as long as possible.
