I have read that giving dogs garlic granules will stop them having fleas. Is this true? Can i give my dog garlic granules that i would use in cooking or do i have to get special ones from the pet shop? Thanks. x

if it does the trick, will it work for moggies too?
At least it will stop you kissing them!
Don't know about the ones for cooking, but you can use the human ones. Most pet shops do them to, but somewhere like Holland and Barrett would be cheaper. They do help, but they don't kill fleas, or stop them hatching out. They just put them off a bit. However garlic is also good for cooling and cleansing the blood, so especially good for itchy dogs.
