I have been buying Frontline from my vet for a few years, now I have started buying Stronghold for Cats as I understand it has a wormer in. But now I am getting confused. I have seen an ad for buying Stronghold Spot On for Cats online, and I wondered if this is what I used to buy at the vet\'s? I thought it needed a prescription, or is there a different Frontline that needs a prescription? Can I buy this online without prescription, or should I stick to Stronghold at the vet\'s? I dont mind buying Frontline online and a separate worm tablet every three months, it works out a lot cheaper I think. Hope I\'m not confusing everyone .. thanks all.

Frontline spray can only be bought on prescription in the UK. However, if you happen to be on holiday in say somewhere like Malta, you can buy it in pet shops. Or so I believe <g>. (Loads cheaper too!) Hope there's no customs officers on here!

Sorry I should have said, I am talking about Frontline Spot On (you put it at the back of the neck once a month). So it can only be bought with a vet\'s prescription?
If you look here http://www.medicanima...6mo0Z0CFZQA4wodJ306sQ you will find that "Frontline Spoton Combo" requires a prescription whereas "Frontline Spoton For Cat" doesn't need a prescription in the UK.
HTH.
I've just bought some Frontline Spot On from here.. I thought it was a good price for the pack of 6.
