It's monday and it's cold out there. so I'm stating in! Well, until I've got to go out anyway!:-) Andy Murry did his best, but when you are up against the best tennis player there has ever been you can only do your best. Andy did not disgrace himself, he played well. He will get there one day.
Have a good day everyone.

morning wbm
Question Author
Morning DF. How are you?
was having a very nice sleep till the person down the street came and started his van up.
did you enjoy the tennis ?
Good morning wbm and df. No squatters in your regular slot today then! Well done rf in the tennis - I agree with you wbm - nice to see a sporting man at the top of his ladder. Tis a little cool still in Bournemouth. Midday yesterday they reckoned it was as cold as in the Cairngorms - but thankfully no snow. Have a good day.
morning MOUCHA
Dont you just love considerate neighbours - sounded like a 707 df?
Question Author
Morning MOUCHA. Nope, nobody preempted me this morning! I agree, RF is a good sportsman. a very good roll model for aspiring youngsters to look up to. He is a very nice man.
Yes, DF, I did enjoy watching, It was a good match.
he wakes a few people up but i am on medication and once i wake up i have to then wait till the medication kicks back in. the lad next door wakes up grunts turns over and goes back to sleep . i wish i could do the same.

ps his mam told me. lol
Oh dear df - I am an insomniac myself. Not much fun is it. I have neighbours who have a fettish about car door slamming in the wee small hours. I count the number of loud closures and expect to find a railway carriage outside in the morning. Bless 'em.
Question Author
I used to have a neighbour like that. I had a word with him and he stopped doing it. He just didn't realise he was upsetting anyone.
MOUCHA what do you take ? at the moment i have temazepam (1) 10mg or i get a private note and get mogadon ( 2 ) 5mg
the thing is there is double yellow lines outside our houses and people have to park on the opposite side of the road. opposite me there is a unmade side road used as a car park.
I have many prescriptions df including amitriptylne to help me sleep. but I only catnap. Usually sleep in shifts one early evening and anothe about 4 or 5 a.m. I am often pushing it to get into work on time - the joys of life. You made me smile wbm - my neighbour is a renowned psychic - so I haven't bothered to tell him!
Question Author
Try having a word DF. It might be like my case, they just don't realise they're being a nuisance. It's worth a go.
i may have to move out of this house so i will let next door or one of the other neighbours say something. the lady next door speaks to his mum so she may have said something in the past.
Question Author
if words have been said and been ignored, it's worth another word with a warning that 'further action' may result. I wouldn't put up with it. You are entitled to peace and quiet.
Or perhaps a polite note left under the wiper blade?
Question Author
A good idea MOUCHA, that could also work. Very good idea indeed.
that is an excellent idea. back in a bit . going to post the crosswords from yesterday and get a paper.
you made me smile again wbm - I am renowned for my wiper blade notes but in my case the pen is mightier than the sword - but they do get the desired results. I discern df is probably a nicer sort than an I !!!
